Sumalsag Cave is situated in Bukidnon mainly in the mountain areas where seclusion is mostly to partake. It takes a 100-km walk before you can venture into a cave with a guide,of course. This is one of my least expensive trip but it was all worth it. The adventure can consume whole day so better get that day off. Yet it's not tiring but challenging and fun. You better purchase some headlights since it is gonna get deeper as you get further into the cave. And since you will be swimming and walking on large puddles might as well sustain your insulation in yhe body and keep a water resistant pouch. Don't forget to eat lotsa carbs and a high caloric diet before facing the challenge.
